Rs.800/- for Research Fellow (RF), Rs.600/- for Jr. Research Fellow (JRF) and IT
Lab. Attendant and Rs.300/- for Field-cum-Lab. Asstt. and GIS/CAD Trainee by cash or Demand Draft (in favour of Director,
Punjab Remote Sensing Centre payable at Ludhiana) must be deposited in the
office of Punjab Remote Sensing Centre, PAU Campus Ludhiana on or before the
date of Walk-in-Selection by 9.30 A.M. to be eligible for selection process
starting at 10.00 AM.
Note:
Candidates those who cannot produce original degrees (including Provisional
Degree Certificate - PDC), Date of Birth and Marksheets etc. will not be
entertained.
Separate application form along with the non
refundable fee as mentioned above is to be filled up in case candidate applies
for more than one post.
Age limit: Not more than 37

Applications are invited from Indian
Nationals for one post of Scientist SC (Agro-ecosystems and Crop Modelling) on purely
contractual basis at a consolidated salary of Rs.35,000/- per month, based on
experience and qualifications for a period of six months against the leave
vacancy.
Qualifications:
Essential:
i) Graduate
in Agricultural Sciences/Agril. Engineering (60% and above marks or equivalent
CGPA with conversion factor)
ii) Master’s degree in Soil Science/Agronomy/Agrometeorology/Agricultural Physics/SWE/RS&GIS (60% and above marks or equivalent CGPA with conversion factor).
iii) One year experience in applications of Remote Sensing and GIS in Agricultur
Desirable:
Training/Experience in use of Remote Sensing and GIS techniques in Agriculture as evident from publications/certificates/testimonials.
